Arise From Business Failure
Over half of all businesses fail within the first 5 years of starting. It’s a well known fact that starting a business can be reward, but also extremely difficult to sustain long term. Every month in the US thousands of businesses start up and close down. It’s easy to just get caught up with the sheer magnitude of these figures. Over half of the working population has either started or currently operates a small business. Entrepreneurship is part of our societal fabrik. So when another business shuts down it’s just normal. But that individual entrepreneur their whole world may have just ended.
Failure is a taboo that we just gloss, minimizing its effect on the individual. When you’ve poured your heart, soul, and financial resources into YOUR business giving everything you’ve got and it ultimately crumbles you’re left completely devastated. You feel worthless and alone. Chris recalls going through this very trauma, battling severe depression feeling like his life was over. He shares his journey through riveting personal experiences that led him from a downtrodden statistic to arising again to proclaim a message of hope in even the worst circumstances. Who’s Your Villain?
Public Speaking consistently ranks as the one of the top fears for adults, even surpassing the fear of DEATH! Up to 75% of adults have glossophobia (the fear of public speaking) that affects many aspects of life. The problem is that you HAVE to speak in front of others throughout your life… leading meetings, job interviews, pitching investors, or describing what you do. Just the thought of having to talk in front of others sends chill inducing anxiety down the spines of some of the world’s most brilliant minds. Plus talking about yourself, possibly exposing any flaws, can be material for your own personal nightmare. However, not addressing this deep-seated fear will most certainly make you appear inept and your ideas less valuable.
Chris leads the audience to delve inwardly to identify their own “villain”. Fear, doubt, self consciousness, embarrassment and anxiety can easily take you to a dark place. This message is the hack to living a fearless life and developing your mind to realize your potential. Who’s Your Villain empowers you to actually shows your cards, disarming your villain… yourself.
